BAC Board Policies

Advertising Rates (Adopted 4/21/07)

The following rates shall apply to the PEEL and to the BAC web site - www.applecore.org/.

1. The BAC Newsletter PEEL:

a. In the “For Sale/Wanted” column on page two there is no charge for current BAC members to advertise. Non- members will be charged $5.00 per month or $50 per year (12 issues) with a maximum of two items per issue. The only exception for nonmembers is if the person has a computer related item they are giving away. Item(s) in this column will be posted concurrently on the BAC web site's Message Board.

The "For Sale/Wanted" column in the PEEL newsletter is not available for commercial items, nor will any commercial advertising be posted on the web site Message Board. All requests for a "For Sale/Wanted" notice destined for the PEEL “For Sale/Wanted” column must be submitted to the PEEL editor, William J. Henry , by the 25th of each month. He, in turn, will notify the Web Master of the notices that are to be placed on the web site Message Board.

b. PEEL Back page. The display ads are business card size and the cost is $10.00 per month or $100.00 per year (12 months) for members and nonmembers. A link to the advertiser's web site, as well as his/her e-mail link, will be posted concurrently on the Home Page of the BAC web site with an appeal to the BAC membership to support our advertisers.

2. BAC Web Site Message Board:

a. Requests to the web master for posting of messages may be submitted in accordance with the instructions posted on the Message Board web page.

b. Requests to the web master for postings that requires the payment of a fee will be referred to the editor of PEEL.

c. Members and nonmembers with a free message may request the web master to post their announcement/message without having the message appear in the PEEL.
