The
Birmingham Apple Core (BAC) is a Macintosh computer user
group whose purpose is to provide information and assistance
to its members regarding the use of these remarkable machines
and related products. We provide a forum for users to
exchange ideas and share resources.
Founded
in 1978, at the inception of the personal computer revolution,
BAC has grown from a primarily Apple-II oriented group
to todays broad membership of Macintosh users. Members
are engineers, homemakers, retirees, doctors, teachers,
students, musicians, graphic specialists and programmers.
Some members are Macintosh consultants.
The
goals of the BAC are to exchange information, to encourage
more efficient use of the Macintosh computer, and to have
funall in a cordial environment.
